The Benefits : Go for MATCHE tea !

category_matcha_teaMatcha tea is tea made from tea leave – you can say from what else. But the difference between regular green or other teas and Matcha is that the leaves are made into very fine powder. The powder is then mixed with hot water and whisked and then you add water, how much depends on how “strong” or “green” you like the tea. Because of the powder is really fine you dont consume only the tea water but also the finely powdered tea leaves which all contains a lot of GOOD and HELATHY STUFF 🙂

Matcha contains a lot of antioxidant which may help you with weight loss, lower cholesterol levels and blood pressure. It also helps in detoxifying efforts, enhances mood, reduces stress, increases energy and helps to keep check of blood pressure and also helps your immune system.

One cup of Matcha = 10 cups of grean tea in value of nutrition and antioxidants.

Antioxidants levels are higher then in spinach or bueberries, they help to protect cells from free radicals and strenghten your immune system.

Catechins antioxidants present ONLY in green tea and Epigallocatechins gallate (EGCG) are known for strong cancer fighting properties and make fro 60% of catechins found in Matcha tea.

L-theanine  (amino acid found almost exclusively in green tea plant) can include alpha waves which are achieved during mediation. It also counteracts the coffein effets and helps lower blood pressure, improve memory, reduce PMS symptoms and reduce stress. The effects usually begin half hour after one cup of Matcha is consumedand can last from 8 to 12 hours.

The tea comes from tea leaves which are made into powder and contain chlorophyll . The powder is consumed along with the tea and that powder contains all the chlorophyll and other good properties. The Chlorophyll helps to balance pH levels in blood and contains antibacterial properties.

I said that L-Theanine counteracts caffein effects… But it is not like Matcha does not contain caffein. No, Matcha is very high on caffein but in Matcha the caffein acts differently. It is attached to catechins and is released to body slowly and thus provides for body sustained source of energy and not just one strong boost followed but low 🙂

I presonally love Matcha tea and I feel the effects and it is great and I must say I feel much happier when I drink this then when drinking coffee ( although I love coffee from ground coffee beans 🙂 ). I also drink Wheat grass which has similar effects and Matcha green tea.

And WHY putting this article under beauty section? Because i belueve that when you take care not just for your skin but your body and you feel great you look more and more beautiful because you also look more happy 🙂
